The units were sourced directly from the manufacturer and fitted by a carpenter, and I bought the appliances separately (some of which are stored in the adjoining utility room). Bespoke brushed steel splash- backs were fixed above the solid oak worktops and Belfast sink, adding to this kitchen’s successful blend of the contemporary and traditional.
