Cooking and entertaining takes place regularly in this home, so I opted for steel and brown leather benches, which seat up to eight people but use less space than chairs, and chose a long steel table with oak top. The poster above the table was framed in brushed aluminium and hung between two brushed steel wall lights, which can be dimmed for that romantic dining experience. I finished the area off with brown raw silk curtains, rather than blinds, for easy access through the French windows.
