The middle reception area could easily have become wasted space. But I wanted to give it a function, so I sourced a large Arco style, stainless steel lamp to sit beside the three- seater sofa, creating a great space for reading. When extra seating is required, the sofa can also be moved 90 degrees to square off the main living area. I hung a brushed aluminium mirror on the left hand wall to enhance the feeling of space and used spotlights throughout to maximise the directional lighting.
